St Albert’s College Autonomous in association with Department of Fisheries & Aquaculture along with the National Service Scheme organized Gender Equity talk on REDEFINING FEMINISM. The main attraction of the program was the talk of Maya S Paramasivam ,Child Trust, Managing trustee. The program began with a prayer song around 10:45 AM. Welcome speech was done by Dr. Bijoy V.M ,Head of the Department of Fisheries & Aquaculture where he addressed the current state of gender equality in the society and welcomed everyone for a brainstorming and eye opening session with the chief guest .The chief guest of the program Maya S Paramasivam gave very clear information about topics like the types of Gender, history of feminism and what today’s feminists are aiming for. The session came to end around 11:20 AM with the vote of thanks by Meenakshi ,student from Industrial Fisheries and also a NSS volunteer. View Poster View Brochure
