The department of mathematics and statistics organised a Digital Poster Making Contest on 30th June 2025 as part of National Statistics Day on 29th June, which is observed in memory of Prof. P. C Mahalanobis. The theme of the competition was "Statistics in Daily Life", aimed at encouraging students to creatively express how statistical thinking is embedded in everyday activities.
