A Mock Parliament Session was conducted on 28 March 2025 at 2:00 PM in Bernard Hall by the Department of Economics, St. Albert's College (Autonomous), Ernakulam, as part of the MG University syllabus for the Political Science Minor course. The program also aligned with the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) component of the National Education Policy (NEP), specifically under the theme of Governance and Polity. The event was coordinated by Dr. Benly B, with student coordinators Soumya Saifuddeen and Aravind Rajiv. The session aimed to give students an experiential understanding of parliamentary proceedings and democratic decision-making. Participants engaged in lively debates centered around the National Education Policy (NEP), discussing issues such as internationalization of higher education, financial support mechanisms, regional language inclusion, and research opportunities in India.
