Purpose and Outcome: The primary objective of the placement preparation program was to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge required to excel in interviews and secure placements in the aviation and travel sectors. Through interactions with industry professionals, students gained valuable insights into the recruitment process and learned how to present themselves effectively to potential employers. At the conclusion of the session, students participated in an Aviation General Quiz (MCQ model) to assess their understanding of the topics covered. The quiz was designed to test their knowledge of the aviation industry, and all students actively participated in the examination. This event provided an excellent opportunity for students of the Department of Travel and Tourism to engage with professionals from the aviation sector. It offered practical tips, career guidance, and motivation to prepare diligently for their future careers. The collaboration with Sree Sankara Aviation Academy ensured that the content delivered was not only relevant but also aligned with the latest industry trends. In summary, the program was a valuable learning experience, offering students both the theoretical and practical tools needed for success in the competitive aviation and travel industries.
