On 8 th November 2024 a placement class for the BVoc Travel And Tourism of St Alberts college took place. The class was conducted by Jeena Mam , the CEO of Bestination Holidays. The class started by 2:00 pm and came to an end by 3:45 pm. The placement class covered the topics like, Different Types of Tourism such as: - Cultural tourism: involves exploring the heritage and traditions of a destination, Domestic tourism: refers to traveling within one’s own country, Adventure tourism: focuses on engaging in thrilling outdoor activities, and Business tourism: entails traveling for professional purpose such as meetings and conferences. Different Types of Passports such as : Blue Passport: Generally issued to diplomatic personnel or government officials, symbolizing the holder's official status in international relations. Maroon Passport: Often used by members of the European Union or government officials, it signifies special privileges but is not for ordinary citizens. Ordinary Passport: A standard document issued to citizens for personal travel, typically allowing the holder to enter most countries. Temporary Passport: A limited-use travel document provided to citizens in emergencies or when the regular passport is lost or stolen. Different Types of Visa Tourist Visa: A permit allowing travelers to visit a foreign country for tourism purposes, with restrictions on activities and length of stay. Employment Visa: A legal authorization enabling foreign nationals to work in a host country for a specific employer or job role. Transit Visa: A short-term visa permitting travelers to pass through a country while en route to another destination. Student Visa: A visa allowing international students to study at educational institutions in a foreign country for a specified period. Entry Visa: A general term for permission to enter a country, often required prior to arrival based on the purpose of travel. Trending Tourist Destination such as: Thailand: Famous for its stunning beaches, vibrant street life, and rich traditions, Thailand offers a unique blend of modernity and spirituality. Paris: The capital city of France, Paris is celebrated for its romantic ambiance, famous landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, and world-class museums. Singapore: A city-state renowned for its clean streets, multicultural society, and impressive skyline, Singapore is a hub for finance and technology in Asia. New York: Known as "The Big Apple," New York City is a vibrant hub of culture, arts, finance, and diverse neighborhoods. Germany: Renowned for its engineering, historic sites, and cultural festivals like Oktoberfest, Germany combines modernity with deep-rooted traditions. United Kingdom: Comprising England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, the UK is famous for its monarchy, rich history, and cultural diversity, and so on...
