The Hortus Seminar held on 19 September 2025 introduced participants to Kochi’s rich local history. Speakers highlighted the city’s evolution from an ancient port to a multicultural trading hub shaped by Arab, Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch, and British influences. Sessions explored Kochi’s urban heritage, traditional architecture, and lesser-known historical sites.
