The Department of Retail Management, St. Albert's College had organized a Parent’s Meeting for final semester students (S6) on 2nd November, 2024. The session was held in Mellano Hall and had an enthusiastic participation of around 23 participants (parents/guardians). The meeting started at 9 am with a silent prayer following the welcome speech by Ms. Aleena Reetha M.J, Class tutor (Semester 6) addressing everyone present in the meeting. Then, the esteemed Principal, Dr. Joseph Justin Rebello began by welcoming everyone and emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong partnership between parents and the college to ensure the student’s success. Following the opening remarks, the Assistant Academic Coordinator, Ms. Josmi Jose, discussed the college’s updated rules and regulations, emphasizing the importance of discipline and academic integrity. Ms. Silda Gorge, Head of Department then outlined the academic goals for the upcoming semester. An open discussion followed, allowing parents to voice concerns, ask questions and offer suggestions. Then, the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Saranya V Nair, Faculty member, Retail Management Department & the meeting concluded with a sense of shared commitment toward the student’s success and the college expressed gratitude to the parents for their active involvement.
