The Department of Zoology, St. Albert's College, conducted a talk on Sustainable Development on 13th August 2024 at 9.00 am in the Zoology Department. The resource persons were Mr. Simon Van and Ms. Jacklien Hessel. Mr. Renssen is a senior lecturer at the School of Commerce and Entrepreneurship of Saxion University of Applied Sciences and the director of Minor liberal arts and science at the University. Ms Jacklien Hessels is an English teacher working in the retail industry. Their area of interest is Sustainability and Thriveability. The talk started at 9.00 am with silent prayer followed by the welcome address of the faculty co-ordinator Ms. Celin Nimisha. Ms Abhirami Rajesh, the student co-ordinator introduced the resource persons to the students. Both final year UG and PG students participated in the event. Mr. Renssen explained sustainability and its relevance in development. The talk was very interactive and there was a brief question-answer session. The talk ended at 12.30 pm with a vote of thanks from Ms. Aiswarya P.S. a post graduate student of our department. View Poster View Brochure
