AWARENESS SEMINAR ON WOMEN HEALTH ISSUES: BREAST HEALTH

The Women Empowerment Cell of St. Albert's College (Autonomous), Ernakulam, successfully conducted an awareness seminar on breast health on June 25, 2024, in collaboration with the Department of Botany and Zoology. The seminar took place in the Zoology lab and was coordinated by Dr. Retina I Cleetus, a faculty member from the Zoology Department. The resource persons for the seminar were from Guardian Angel Home Care Centre, Kochi. The seminar commenced with a welcome address by Ms. Celine Nimisha, a faculty member from the Zoology Department. Ms. Mercy from the resource team provided an introductory overview of Guardian Angel Home Care Centre. The keynote address was delivered by Ms. Alfana from the resource team. She emphasized the importance of breast health care and highlighted non-invasive diagnostic methods. The speaker also discussed various symptoms and treatments related to breast cancer. The seminar concluded with a thank-you note by Ms. Arsha Sebastian from 2nd PG Botany. View Poster View Brochure
